Nourish Cafe Review // San Francisco

Nourish is San Francisco’s newest plant-based organic restaurant—recently opened in March 2015. Last month, we went on a quick weekend trip to San Francisco. I always consider SF a super vegan-friendly place, but I realize the term "vegan" does not always describe a healthy plant-based cuisine-- usually, it’s just a way to disguise a bunch of soy-filled, canola oil-infused, sugary foods... most of which aren’t even organic! Since I’m always on the lookout for truly clean food, when I was recommended Nourish Cafe, I had to investigate! We drove straight to Nourish from the plane—and we could not have been more pleased. Nourish is so cute, easy to find, and, bonus, there is street parking right out front. Now that I've tried it for myself, I can tell you- they are the real deal. We love that they serve locally-made, gluten-free bread from Bread SRSLY (a pure product with no added yeast) and use only the highest quality ingredients. We ordered the “Tuna” Sandwich (made from sunflower seeds) on gluten-free bread, a Veggie Wrap served in a raw spirulina flatbread, and their Nourish Bowl Salad with oil-free, creamy, house-made hemp dressing—no processed, boxed, or artificial ingredients hidden here! Nourishcafe-04-newNourishcafe-03 If that wasn't enough, their grain-free, paleo almond butter cookies and adorable vibe had us totally hooked. We can’t wait to go back! Easily one of our favorite spots in SF. Sweets
