THE FULLEST FAVES X

Perhaps it’s the fact that she’s about to really nestle into her space as she prepares to welcome her second baby — but this month’s THE FULLEST FAVES definitely has a strong bend toward our personal spaces. If you’ve been looking for some clean home inspiration that offers non-toxic alternatives without compromising on aesthetics, read on.

Biokleen Bac-Out Enzymatic Drain Care

Instead of using Draino to clear your pipes, use a natural alternative that doesn’t put chemicals into our earth or water systems. Recently, we had a terribly clogged sink due to my love for oils. After trying basically everything, the only product that actually worked was the bottle of natural cleaner. Once I let it sit for about a day or two, my sink magically started working again! It was truly a miracle.

Aunt Oti Organic Waffle Hand Towel

There are lots of waffle towels on the market. However, nothing compares to these undyed options. It feels luxurious yet simple. Believe it or not, it’s hard to find an online retailer that offers more than a single purchase. After some serious internet research, I came across this store that seems to have multiples currently in stock.

Tappan Collective

If you haven’t heard of them, then check out Tappan Collective. I love their artwork and simple buying process. Highly recommend getting lost on their site next time you’re in the market for some new art pieces.

Texino Campers

We are building a sustainable camper van (complete with non-toxic wood and wool insulation) with this company and we couldn’t be more excited about it. For us, we figured the best way to travel over the next few years with two kids and a big dog would be on the road with all our babies in tow! If you’re looking to rent one for a trip or build your own, definitely look into them.

Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certification for Textiles

It wasn't until recently that I realized the Oeko certification was so rigorous. Sometimes I come across sustainable brands using fabric that isn’t “certified organic” but do source their fabrics using this certification. Originally, I was unsure of the difference between the two but after some research, I now know why! Oeko is a global uniform testing and certification system for all stages of textile production, which ensures that all of these products are free from harmful substances. This means it goes way beyond the organic label, so definitely keep an eye out for it!

Formaldehyde-Free Furniture

We were recently in the market for a new bedroom dresser and tables and came across this non-toxic set from Avocado. The aesthetic is perfect and most importantly, I appreciate their high standards when it comes to sourcing materials.

Midland

I love shopping at Midland so much — they offer the perfect combination of adult, home, and baby products that are all picked with so much intention. They sell a lot of my favorite brands that are not typically available in stores. Loco Love Chocolates, Wol Hide Clothes, Bennd Yoga Mats, the entire range of Nucifera self-care products, and not to mention THE FULLEST products as well. We are so happy to be in the company of other feel-good and sustainable brands. Having one store on the Eastside and another on the Westside of LA, there’s never an excuse to not stop by and browse through their wares.

Kinder Thoughts™

Since we launched Kinder Thoughts™, I’ve been taking these every morning with my husband and can totally tell a difference in my mood and my body. I’m typically not like this, but it’s gotten to the point that I just can’t wait to take them when I wake up. They’re so cute and I know that they are beneficial to my whole system — not to mention the major digestive benefits I’ve been getting from daily use!Nikki Bostwick is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of THE FULLEST and host of THE FULLEST Podcast. She has always been passionate about providing wellness content that offers a perspective outside the mainstream narrative — one that is holistic, diverse and inclusive. Since launching, Nikki has grown THE FULLEST to include a daily digital platform, a weekly podcast, a botanical product line, and a wholesale business alongside her amazing team. She is also a mom of two, nestled in Newport Beach with her high school sweetheart and their Siberian Husky.
