What Are Electroceuticals and Will They Save Us?

If you thought your superfood, organic latte was the cure-all, just wait... Dr. Jeoff Drobot, bioregulatory medical expert and founder of the American Center for Biological Wellness wants to let you in on a secret that won’t hit the mainstream for years: it’s all about electroceuticals. Dr. Drobot is a bit of a futurist. For over 15 years he’s been forecasting that we’d end up needing tech to get ourselves out of the devolved health mess our modern ways have led to. After decades of being categorized as overpriced and unnecessary, the organic food industry is finally being seen as vital. While the majority was busy downplaying the very basic need for organics since the early 2000’s, environmental fuckery was taking place to the tune of polluting the water, food, and air with glyphosate, fluoride, herbicides, lead, and microplastics to name a few of the biggies -- all of which have now been directly implicated as causative factors in many of today’s most common diseases. These pollutants are called endocrine disruptors, and are known to wreak havoc on the communication between our metabolic and neurohormonal pathways. Indeed, we’ve seen their physiological influence through the sharp rise in anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, intestinal permeability, various cancers, and autoimmune diseases over the past 10 years. So then, with organic food abundantly available, one would think we’d be healing ourselves of these serious conditions left and right... but Dr. Drobot says that’s not the case.“Organic food is the currency we use in the modern world to pay our environmental tax,” he explains. “If your goal is to only gain enough health to pay this tax, that’s akin to living paycheck to paycheck. This means we’re relying on organic food to survive. If we want to thrive, we need to uplevel our thinking into the context that organic is basic — it is what we should have been practicing all along, just as our grandparents did. Thriving requires a bit more of an investment beyond basic.”Dr. Drobot believes that we’ve moved into a time period where we need to deeply repair at the cellular level, suggesting that electroceuticals are our chance to upgrade our thinking, performance, and longevity.

If we plan to continue living in cities and suburbs and our modus operandi is still the go-go-go lifestyle, then to avoid disease, mainstream electroceuticals are the answer.

And Dr. Drobot isn’t just talking about electrotech that simply manages diseases. “While disease management that takes the place of pharmaceuticals is a step in the right direction, this thinking is mediocre at best — the disease management model is parallel, not upgraded thinking,” he suggests. “I’m talking about upgraded brain wave states where the brain best informs the body to prevent a diagnosis altogether. We need to be thinking in terms of upgrading performance. Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade our thinking so we never even remotely consider doing this to ourselves again in the future.” The doctor is first to admit that this will require a return to mass critical thinking as organic food and supplements alone won’t save us.“To upgrade from survival to thrival, it’s our minds that need to change first,” says Dr. Drobot. “Bioregulatory practices actually give us a chance to heal our mental outlook at an accelerated rate -- and only then will our beliefs about how our environment is influencing us actually begin to shift.”Christine Dionese, co-founder of flavor ID is an integrative, epigenetic health and food therapy specialist, as well as a wellness, lifestyle, and food writer.
