Poetry Corner: ‘It Matters’ by Taryn Toomey

What you do with it matters.

How you avoid.

How you enmesh.

What you do with the ache.

When you soften.

When you call in your courage.

When you allow it to be messy and undone.

When you do it. How you do it.

It all matters.

Because it is part of you.

You. The exquisite constellation of these experiences.

A complete anomaly.

In the middle of it. Is your spirit.

Marinating in it all.

It matters.

It matters to you.
