What the Founder of THE FULLEST Eats in a Day

Founder of THE FULLEST and host of THE FULLEST Podcast, Nikki Bostwickspills her typical menu-of-the-day that is family-approved. It’s a lineup of nourishment, balance, and of course, lots & lots of saffron! Although every day does not look like this, here is her standard menu from sunrise to sunset…I always make sure to start my day with a concoction of elixirs and tinctures that support my gut, mind, body, and soul to prepare me for a busy day ahead. First on the list is a nourishing cup of THE FULLEST’s Warm Feelings™ saffron latte. This medicinal bevy contains 150mgs of potent saffron, layered in a creamy bed of organic coconut milk powder — this healthy fat combined with saffron makes this beverage super bioavailable for optimal mood-boosting support. (It’s also caffeine-free, glyphosate-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, paleo, and vegan — so you will see the saffron latte mentioned around the clock!)Next is a lineup of supplements and tinctures! First, I always take 1-2 Kinder Thoughts™ saffron capsules. I tend to pop an extra capsule when I’m on my moon cycle for PMS support. I follow this up with a vial of Quinton’s Isotonic Sea Plasma for hydration. My son, Truth, typically partakes in this ritual with me! (Sadly, Erewhon now only carries the plastic sachets of Quinton’s, so I always make sure to order the glass vials available here). I follow up with a walnut milk matcha and sip slowly on this throughout the morning.Breakfast is typically a smörgåsbord of sweet and savory! My husband & I set up a yogurt bar consisting of Cocojune yogurt, JEM Organics Nut Butter (Truth loves the Cashew Cardamom and Naked Almond Butter), Beekeeper’s Naturals Bee Pollen, local honey, and some raw dark chocolate chunks (my kid’s favorite part is to sprinkle chocolate on their parfait). We always like to pair the breakfast lineup with something savory to compliment the sweet. Typically, my husband whips up some eggs (we always make sure they are soy-free, hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and pastured organic eggs from our local farmer. And, if you're curious, head over to THE FULLEST resource guide here for my roundup of grocery guidelines). And, of course, eggs are only complete with a slice of bread! Coco Bakes offers a beautiful sourdough bread that is always my go-to. It's gluten-free, glyphosate-free and fermented for 12+ hours at a local LA bakery. I love supporting small businesses with ethically-sourced ingredients. I will typically pat the toast with a bit of raw cultured butter from Raw Farm and organic avocado slices for some healthy fats.I head into THE FULLEST HQ, and before any meetings we always do a group Doordash order from our favorite local spot, Cafe Gratitude. I will typically get the Whole Bowl with avocado and sprouted brown rice. It’s satiating and nourishing — I always feel fueled and ready to take on a busy day when I incorporate grains and protein into my routine. We have a long shared table at our office & there are always a couple of snacks situated amongst the computer chaos. Naming just a couple of our favorites: Top Seedz crackers layered with LAKA’s Shoom Dip (a stone-ground, raw macadamia butter infused with a proprietary 5-mushroom blend verified by science for active compounds that support immune, digestive, and brain health), SeaSnax (has to be the lime flavor! I love that they don’t use artificial flavors, it’s just organic lime juice!), and an assortment of Vision Sprouts activated nuts and seeds. We typically sip on ARMRA colostrum powder (tune into our podcast episode with the founder here to learn more about this fountain of youth superfood). When the workday ends, I head home and start making dinner. The prep process involves all hands on deck because my kids are always the sous chef! Regardless of the spills along the way, dinner is a family activity I always look forward to. This meal is always the biggest! I tend to pull recipes from THE FULLEST; a few of our family favorites are Saffron Rice with Barberries, White Bean and Kale Minestrone Soup, and Saffron Kitchari. A side salad is always incorporated, typically Dr. Ray Peat’s Carrot Salad or Turmeric and Arugula Anti-Anxiety Salad.I typically end the day with my preferred nightcap — another cup of Warm Feelings™ saffron latte, of course! I like to sip on this while my kids take a medicinal saffron bath, and I steam my vagina using Womb Protector™ Ritual Bundle. It’s the perfect way to unwind and set myself up for a much-deserved night’s rest.Nikki Bostwick is the Founder and Editor in Chief of THE FULLEST and has always been passionate about providing wellness content that offers a perspective outside the mainstream narrative — one that is holistic, diverse, and inclusive.
