THE FULLEST Scopes Reveal Love is In All Our Stars

“You can’t solve a problem on the same level that it was created. You have to rise above it to the next level. — Albert EinsteinThe first two weeks of February saw a pile up of Aquarian energy, beginning with February 1st, when Venus, planet of love and money, entered the experimental sign, activating our desire for freedom. Aquarius has its eyes on the horizon, forever fixated on human invention and progress. Though it can be ideologically unyielding, it is governed by principle. You may have hit what felt like a snag on February 4th, during the Last Quarter Moon in Scorpio, when deeper material may have surfaced, but this ‘liberation’ theme is furthered on the New Moon in Aquarius on February 11th, when Saturn (responsibility), Jupiter (expansion), Venus (love, relationships, and values), Mercury (thought, communication, mental processing), the Moon (emotions, needs) and the Sun (vital life force) are all gathered in the sign. New Moons herald new beginnings and with the first of three Saturn-Uranus squares just barely a week later on the 17th, February’s theme is surely ‘breaking free.’ Saturn and Uranus, as it so happens, are the co-rulers of Aquarius. Saturn being the ethical backbone and Uranus the rebel, their squaring off reads as electric. Innovation is key.Throughout the month, Mercury will be Retrograde (it went Retrograde on January 30th) until February 20th, just two days after the Sun moves into Pisces, deepening our compassion and willingness to let go. Mercury Retrograde is an opportunity to see old things in a new light. Yes, we want to double check any agreements or contracts, but it’s more about listening beneath the words and attuning to non-verbal communication. The message sent may not be the message received. February 19th sees a First Quarter Moon in Gemini, peaking our curiosity and need for stimulation, but also increasing restlessness. And on February 25th, Venus joins the Sun in Pisces. Poetry, music, literature and art are lovely ways to access this energy. For those looking to delve deeper into Pisces, Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way” comes to mind, as does Penney Pierce’s “The Intuitive Way.”On the 27th, we have the Full Moon in Virgo, where the focus will be on health, wellbeing and service. After a heady month, this will offer a moment to recalibrate and release. With the Sun conjunct Venus opposite the Moon, we’re encouraged to explore themes of service, the difference between self-sacrifice and surrender. The latter need not include the former.Danielle Beinstein is a psychological and intuitive astrologer based between New York, Los Angeles, and New Zealand.
