Cover FX

On this week’s episode, Nikki grabs matcha with Emily Culp from Cover FX, the leading vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics brand you’ve probably seen at Sephora and Ulta. If you’ve ever wondered if it’s reallllly possible to be a bonafide SHE-E-O while raising two children and making an impact in the world, Emily shows us that, yes, it is, and she’s living proof. The entrepreneur grew up in the suburbs of Philly and credits her confidence in attending a small girls' school. From there, she went onto study psych and art, logging a decade in the ad world before moving client-side for major brands like Clinique, Unilever, Rebecca Minkoff, and Keds. She held two high-level jobs during both her pregnancies and let’s just say her less-than-par experience spurned a deep desire to legislate for better family leave -- which she’s doing an amazing job advocating for. Listen in for this and so much more, including the next innovation in beauty functional makeup (AKA: products that support the microbiome). Yes, please!Referenced in this episode:
