A Recipe for Hosting Your Own Cacao Ceremony at Home

Known by the Aztecs as the food of the gods, cacao is a holy plant believed to have been gifted to us to open our hearts, connect with spirit, and nurture our being as we move through life's challenges. Its energy is said to heal, transform, and release unwanted emotions and patterns.Naturally, cacao is a fermented bean that comes from a fruit pod. In this untouched state, it has more antioxidants than berries, magnesium, iron, and calcium. From the forests of South America to cities all around the globe, cacao ceremonies are holding space for many to awaken the potential within, release trauma, come back into alignment, and evoke a more intimate relationship with themselves and others. Use this recipe in ceremony with others, or in the comfort of your own home.
