Lavender Matcha Latte

While it may seem a bit unexpected, the floral notes from the lavender play so nicely with the bitter matcha in this lovely latte. This is my morning beverage of choice, and one that I also like to make for friends when they come over for tea. Anyone I have made this for has always been pleasantly surprised by the subtle flavor of the lavender. I typically find dried lavender at my local farm stand in the summer, but you can also source it in a regular grocery store or online. When I do find it, I like to stock up. It lasts forever, and a little goes a long way.
