Sakara

This week we sit down with the girls from the clean, vegan meal delivery service, Sakara, and it’s a true treat (just like their dark chocolate cardamon cookies). Hailing from Sedona, Arizona — a wellness mecca if ever there was one — both girls have struggled with food and stress issues most of their young adult lives. In fact, it took a Wall Street burnout and a crazy diet for them to branch out and examine a new approach to eating. Healing themselves from the inside out, they discovered the powerful benefits of nutrition and decided to bring their recipes to the world — including the fridges of Iman, Lily Aldridge and Lena Dunham, to name only a few. From humble beginnings in NYC, they’ve grown their empire across the country... but it hasn’t been without hard work. Queue this one up on your podcast and snack on their business wisdom and nutritional knowledge.Referenced in this episode:
