Geraldine Chung

Geraldine Chung, the founder of the hippest closing boutique in Venice Beach, has always had a unique sense of style. She credits her colorful upbringing in both Taiwan and SoCal for her laid back, but quirky, fashion sense. Inspired by street culture and an undying love for sweatpants, she’s brought her expertise to Lincoln Boulevard with LCD. A former executive in NYC’s music industry, Geraldine’s a hardworking woman in charge, who left comfort to go after what she really wanted. And we at The Fullest respect that 100%. (We also love everything in her store and online shop.)We caught up with Geraldine to ask her to share the seven things making her life better at the moment. This is what she had to say:1 | Big waves-- I read The Wave: In Pursuit of the Rogues, Freaks and Giants of the Ocean by Susan Casey last year and am now obsessed with watching big waves.2 | My 2 rescue pit bulls, Sydney and Izzy-- The sweetest, most lazy bones, cuddly animals you’ve ever encountered.3 | Destroyer Cafe in Culver City-- Gorgeous, intellectual and delicious food by Jordan Kahn in a completely unfussy environment.4 | The Underground Museum-- The mission, energy and exhibitions curated by late artist Noah Davis, mixed with the families playing basketball and eating at food trucks during art openings. It’s all so magical!5 | My friend Holly Jovenall’s forthcoming line, BILLY-- She’s shown me samples and I already cannot wait to get my hands on some of her pieces! It’s inspired by perfect vintage tees, Rick Owens, skaters, and Japanese workwear.6 | Warriors of Radness-- Rick Klotz’s line shut down in 2012 but I still dream of it and hope he does another surf-inspired line.7 | Grown Alchemist Intensive Hand Cream-- I never leave home without it.
