As a middle schooler she served as a peer counselor and often found herself mentoring classmates about their sex lives. In high school she volunteered at an HIV/AIDS clinic, and in college at San Francisco State majored in Health Education with a focus on sexual health. A study abroad stint in Amsterdam garnered her a Gender & Sexuality certificate and a whole new perspective on sex. After receiving her Masters from The New School in New York City she underwent sex coach training and is now a member of the World Associate of Sex Coaches. The Fullest is honored to have Myisha as both a contributor and an influencer. We asked her to share with us the seven things making her life better at the moment. Here is what she had to say:1 | My boo-- My partner has been a huge source of support for me while I've been building my business this year. It's an understatement to say that I couldn't do it without him.2 | Badass women-- I am blessed to be surrounded by a community of badass women who not only keep me motivated and inspire me... they drink with me too! 3 | Good Citizens by Thich Nhat Hanh-- This book examines how being mindful daily is key to being a good citizen in society. It has helped me prioritize mindfulness in all aspects of my life.4 | Thrive Market-- A lifesaver in my household for ordering bulk natural food items. We don't own a car, so replenishing staples can be a real bummer! All of the products on Thrive are healthy and natural... and cheaper than going to the store! They also donate memberships to low-income families.5 | Yoga-- After reading an interview with Jessamyn Stanley, I decided to approach yoga differently than I have in the past. I use it as a means to center, come home to my body and wring out stress.6 | My vibrator-- When I'm stressed or when my partner isn't down (or if I just want to keep O-ing), my vibe is my friend.7 | Pregnancy Tea from Scarlet Sage-- No, I'm not pregnant! Drinking this tea daily (which contains raspberry leaf and nettles), and taking magnesium during my period have been true lifesavers for relieving menstrual cramping.Photo by: Lauren Crew.
