The Practice Of Noticing

Meditation is the practice of noticing. We notice our breath, or a sound, or the flickering of a candle, lit. Or we repeat a mantra. The key is to observe without judgment. This simple orientation trains us to apply the same level of awareness and acceptance to our thoughts and our emotions.Because the more self-aware we become, the less impressionable we become to our own self-undoing. We notice a thought and we let it go. Same with an emotion. We learn to direct and redirect our energy. What we focus on grows. In this meditation, I’ll guide you into focusing on the beauty in your life, both in the world and in yourself. Everything we love and admire is a reflection of our bounty within. Enjoy![arve url="https://youtu.be/lcocABMmNGk"/]
