A Guided Meditation for Showing Up

Meditation is ultimately about showing up for yourself. In sitting in silence and focusing our attention inward, we are telling the universe and ourselves that we matter. We are putting skin in the game of our own growth and expansion.Being present requires nothing. All we have to do is pay attention. And then let go. Easier said than done, I know. But we all have to start somewhere. In this meditation, I guide you into the present moment as we notice our external and internal surroundings before settling into our own stillness. We often forget this, but it’s there, waiting for us always beneath the noise and the commotion and the monkey mind. It’s there.Your only job here is to follow along. If you get distracted, that’s ok. Just pivot your attention back. There are no mistakes. If your mind wanders, that’s ok. If you find yourself getting emotional, that’s ok, too. It’s all just stuck emotion looking for release. And the more present we become, the less stuck we become.[arve url="https://youtu.be/A8zlVRl5hdc"/]
